Services Provided: Development, planning, and execution of an organizational assessment program in support of global infrastructure assets; Develop a program wide master plan to identify requirements and priorities; Develop KPI measurement of program development and success.

Challenge: There was no overall methodology for the  synchronization of infrastructure requirements and priorities for a global en-route enterprise spanning 38 overseas locations supporting a global capability.

Solution: Team Members were directly responsible and accountable for the development of PMBOK® based quantitative assessment criteria and lead over 20 multi-disciplined integrated delivery teams to work with each location to assess/evaluate the infrastructure requirements needed to support their capability. Developed a program for the execution of a comprehensive $100m per year construction program. Instituted a formal lessons learned procedure for a cyclic improvement process

Results and Outcomes

Within the first year, multiple sub area development plans were produced tying all requirements back to a strategic objective. Established and implemented an organizational process to insure staff functions and processes aligned with stakeholder requirements. These were baselined with the Project Management Maturity Levels for future comparison for senior leaders to measure progress/improvement.

The outcome was an articulate and supportable global master plan with a construction execution budget of $700 million for the next 10 years.   Leaders held accountable against PMAA improvement metrics.
